In the last several years people in the Western World have begun
utilizing quite a lot of spices in their cooking. It has been after
repeated requests that I have compiled in this recipe book few of
the most popular dishes of India. The ingredients are readily
available in this country. Actually this is the third series of my
recipe book now. The distinctive feature which characterizes the
East Indian cooking is the use of many blends of herbs and spices
during actual cooking. It is my wish and sincere hope that you will
derive fun and enjoyment in preparing and trying some of our dishes.
