ABOUT PRASAD'S IMPORTS

Devi Prasad, Owner	Prasad's Imports was founded by P. Devi Prasad in 1976. She started the business as a hobby and it has since become a very successful company. Devi, as she is fondly known by all her co-workers and customers, started with gift items and ladies garments. She sold these on a nationwide basis.
Because some of the gift items were heavy and breakable, she eventually moved toward soft goods and brought in beautiful decorative pillows and fabrics. Devi is now affiliated with several major companies and has a very good reputation in the industry. Along with being a manufacturer, importer, wholesaler and designer, she also has a love for music and East Indian cooking. Devi has CD's, cassettes, albums and a wonderful recipe book to her name. She is a vocalist and has also played sitar, a 21-stringed instrument. Her love of life is evident to all who know her.
